Eligibility

Inclusion criteria

Inclusion criteria: The sample will be composed of individuals who practice CrossFit; of both sexes; who report being practitioners of the sport for a minimum of 3 months with a weekly frequency of more than 2 days.

Exclusion criteria

Exclusion criteria: Individuals who report a history of ankle sprain in the last 6 weeks will be excluded; individuals with limited range of motion due to edema identified through the cacifo's test and measurement of ankle circumference compared to the contralateral ankle; individuals with range of motion limitation due to reported pain; individuals reporting vestibular dysfunction.

MeasureTime frame
An increase in the levels of ankle dorsiflexion is expected, based on a minimum change of 6°, evaluated by the physical test called the Weight Bearing Lunge Test, in which the participant is evaluated regarding his maximum capacity to generate ankle dorsiflexion in the position standing, immediately after the intervention, 4 weeks and 12 weeks after the allocation.

MeasureTime frame
An increase in ankle stability levels is expected, based on a minimum change of 5.87% for the Anterior reach; 7.84% for PM range; and 7.55% for the posterolateral reach, assessed by the physical test called the simplified Star Excursion Balance Test , in which the participant is evaluated regarding his maximum reach capacity with the opposite foot to the evaluated one, measuring immediately after the intervention, 4 weeks and 12 weeks after allocation.
