Design outcomes
Primary
| Measure | Time frame |
|---|---|
| The primary variable in this study will be pain assessment using the visual analog scale, and it is expected that the Chlorhexidine and Green Tea/Hyaluronic Acid groups will present pain levels that will not differ from each other by more than 2 points on the visual analog scale | — |
Secondary
| Measure | Time frame |
|---|---|
| The assessment of wound healing will be performed using a wound healing index. It is expected that the Chlorhexidine and Green Tea/Hyaluronic Acid groups will exhibit wound healing levels that will not differ from each other by more than 2 points on the tissue wound healing index;Edema analysis will be performed through mouth opening assessments and facial measurements. It is expected that the Chlorhexidine and Green Tea/Hyaluronic Acid groups will present facial and mouth opening measurements that will not differ from each other by more than 5 mm for mouth opening and 2 mm for facial measurements;Bone healing analysis will be performed using radiographic bone density and fractal dimension analysis. It is expected that the Chlorhexidine and Green Tea/Hyaluronic Acid groups will present radiographic density and fractal dimension levels that will not differ from each other by more than 10% | — |
