Conditions

Dental Prosthesis, Implant-Supported

Interventions

To obtain the digital models for the first stage of training the artificial intelligence algorithm, 100 participants will be selected from the integrated clinics of the Department of Dentistry at UFRN
Zhermack) and stock molds (Tecnodent Indústria e Comércio). Then, after disinfecting the mold with 1% sodium hypochlorite (Asfer Indústria Química LTDA), the models will be made in special type IV pla

Eligibility

Age
18 Years to No maximum

Inclusion criteria

Inclusion criteria: Individuals over 18 years of age; of both sexes; with stable occlusion; with all upper and lower anterior teeth aligned and healthy or with single-sided restorations that do not alter their morphology. For the second stage of training, models with a trunnion-type abutment in the anterior region of the maxilla and their respective antagonist models will be selected from the Laboratory database in dental prosthetics

Exclusion criteria

Exclusion criteria: Individuals with missing anterior teeth; undergoing orthodontic treatment or with pathological tooth migration resulting from periodontal disease will be excluded

Design outcomes

Primary

MeasureTime frame
The accuracy of implant-supported crowns generated by artificial intelligence is expected to be superior when compared to crowns designed by the prosthetic technician using the conventional method verified by evaluating the morphology, 3D position and maxillomandibular relationship, based on analysis in the Geomagic software (Geomagic Studio 2013; 3D Systems Inc).

Secondary

MeasureTime frame
Artificial intelligence algorithm capable of learning different dental anatomies and the positional relationship between the teeth of different individuals and thus designing biomimetic implant-supported single crowns in the anterior region of the maxilla that are plausible for different clinical conditions.
