Design outcomes

Primary

MeasureTime frame
1) prevention of cavitated carious lesions evaluated by the DMFT index after 18 months of intervention; 2) reversal or progression of enamel lesions previously active non-cavitated present on smooth surfaces evaluated using the Nyvad index after 18 months of intervention; 3) reversal or progression of enamel lesions previously active non-cavitated present on smooth surfaces assessed by the change in fluorescence and area of lesions using QLF after 18 months of intervention.

Secondary

MeasureTime frame
2) reversal or progression of enamel lesions previously active non-cavitated present on smooth surfaces evaluated using the Nyvad index after 1, 6 and 12 months of intervention; 3) reversal or progression of enamel lesions previously active non-cavitated present on smooth surfaces assessed by the change in fluorescence and area of lesions using QLF after 1, 6 and 12 months of intervention.
