Intervention group: 19 individuals who will do treadmill training for 12 weeks, 3 sessions of 50 minutes per week. Active control group: 19 individuals who will be instructed to walk from 150 to 160 m

Eligibility

Age
40 Years to 60 Years

Inclusion criteria

Inclusion criteria: Individuals diagnosed with type 2 diabetes of both sexes; from 40 to 60 years of age; who do not exercise vigorously at maximal and frequency greater than or equal to three times a week and who agree to participate in the study and sign the term of free and informed consent.

Exclusion criteria

Exclusion criteria: Individuals with a history of clinically proven cardiopathy or examination; uncontrolled arterial hypertension; musculoskeletal or respiratory disorders; cognitive disturbances that prevent the understanding of the experimental procedure; pregnant women; smokers; alcoholics or users of non-licit drugs.

Design outcomes

Primary

MeasureTime frame
It is expected that after the training the individuals present a reduction of the arterial stiffness, verified by means of the analysis of the pulse wave velocity of the peripheral artery obtained via transcutaneous by the SphygmoCor® apparatus.

Secondary

MeasureTime frame
Reduction of the percentage values ??of body water, muscle mass, bone and total and segmental fat, visceral fat and basal metabolic index obtained by the InBody770 tetrapolar bioimpedance balance.
