Age
18 Years to No maximum

Inclusion criteria

Inclusion criteria: Cardiac transplanted patients; older than 18 years; in outpatient follow-up at the National Institute of Cardiology.

Exclusion criteria

Exclusion criteria: Those with cardiac pacing device; intermittent cardio-defibrillator; using hearing aids; carriers of brain injury, patients with status epilepticus; patients with chronic liver disease; patients with chronic kidney disease.

Design outcomes

Primary

MeasureTime frame
To demonstrate the autonomic modulation of cardiac transplanted individuals by transcutaneous electrostimulation at acupuncture points; analysis of heart rate variability through RR intervals; 10% variation in the sympatho-vagal index comparing before and after transcutaneous electrostimulation.

Secondary

MeasureTime frame
To demonstrate that the autonomic modulation of cardiac transplants by transcutaneous electrostimulation reduces oxidative stress; analysis of oxidative stress in saliva samples by DCFH oxidation method before, during and after the protocol; reduction of 50% in the oxidative stress of the transplanted patients comparing before and after the transcutaneous electrical stimulation.;To demonstrate that the autonomic modulation of cardiac transplants by transcutaneous electrostimulation reduces heart rate; continuous recording of heart rate throughout the protocol; 10% reduction in transplanted heart rate comparing before and after transcutaneous electrical stimulation.;To demonstrate that the autonomic modulation of cardiac transplants by transcutaneous electrostimulation reduces arterial blood pressure; continuous recording of arterial blood pressure throughout the protocol; 10% reduction in transplanted arterial blood pressure comparing before and after transcutaneous electrical stimulation.
