Eligibility

Age
35 Years to 80 Years

Inclusion criteria

Inclusion criteria: Subjects with heart failure NYHA II and III; with the same drug therapy in the last three months; able to participate in the intervention protocol

Exclusion criteria

Exclusion criteria: Subjects with decompensated heart failure; with previous lung disease; with neurological diseases or neurodegenerative diseases; presence of bronchial hypersecretion; and subjects which present difficulties of understanding and execution of the intervention

Design outcomes

Primary

MeasureTime frame
Improvement of thoracoabdominal mobility, evaluated by optoelectronic plethysmography, with an increase of at least 200 ml in pre and post measurements

Secondary

MeasureTime frame
Improvement of the use of the accessory respiratory muscles, evaluated by electromyography, from the observation of the oscillation of the signs;Improvemento of diaphragmatic mobility and thickness, assessed by ultrasound
