This is a randomized controlled clinical study with three arms, single-blind. Experimental group B: 39 athletes will receive manual and instrumental myofascial release
Experimental group C: 39 athletes will receive manual myofascial release and a massage gun
and CONTROL GROUP (A) 39 athletes will receive manual myofascial release. The experimental and control interventions were offered in a randomized manner and with allocation concealment. In both groups

18 Years to No maximum
Inclusion criteria
Inclusion criteria: Athletes and sports practitioners with muscle pain related to physical exercise; physically active or very active; both genders
Exclusion criteria
Exclusion criteria: Athletes and sports practitioners with pain originating from musculoskeletal injury; unable to read and unable to answer questionnaires; non-sports practitioners
