Inclusion criteria
Inclusion criteria: Age 19 to 45 years; body mass index less than 25; absence of chronic disease or musculoskeletal injuries within the previous three months prior to enrollment; engagement in regular endurance training (at least 3 sessions per week, 30min or more per session) for at least six months prior to enrollment
Exclusion criteria
Exclusion criteria: Use of any legal or illegal performance–enhancing substances; acute infections or inflammatory processes within two weeks prior to initial testing

| Expected outcome: medium to large effect size (Cohen's f = 0.30) of changes in tissue saturation index, assessed by near-infrared spectroscopy, in the prefrontal cortex, locomotor muscles, or respiratory muscles during high-intensity constant-load cycling induced by respiratory muscle training;Observed outcome: Prefrontal cortex tissue saturation index remains stable at approximately 68–72% during high-intensity constant-load cycling. Intercostal muscles show a decrease in tissue saturation index from ~68% at baseline to ~58% at exhaustion. Locomotor muscles show an increase in tissue saturation index of ~3–4% post-training across time points regardless of group, suggesting improved tissue oxygenation following respiratory muscle training.
