This is a school-based, controlled, randomized intervention study. An intervention program will be carried out in 6 state schools in Montes Claros-MG, involving 1150 students in the 1st year of high s

13 Years to 18 Years

Inclusion criteria

Inclusion criteria: First year high school students; regularly enrolled in the selected schools; of both genders; between 13 and 18 years of age; not having physical and/or mental limitations that would prevent their participation in the stages of the study; having parental consent through the signing of the TCLE (Free and Informed Consent Form); having agreed to and signed the TALE (Free and Informed Consent Form)

Exclusion criteria: Students not enrolled in the first year of high school in the selected schools; not meeting the minimum and maximum ages established; having physical and/or mental limitations that prevent their participation in the stages of the study; not having parental consent through the signing of the TCLE (Free and Informed Consent Form); not having agreed to and signed the TALE (Free and Informed Consent Form)

MeasureTime frame
It is expected to positively change indicators of physical activity practice in adolescents enrolled in the first year of high school in public schools in Montes Claros, MG through an intervention program with behavior change strategies.

Secondary

MeasureTime frame
Adolescents are expected to modify their eating behavior through healthy eating habits after steps of awareness, motivation, and recommendations for healthier food consumption.;It is expected to positively change anthropometric parameters of adolescents measured through physical and clinical assessments before and after the intervention program.;It is expected to positively change the biochemical parameters of the analyzed adolescents through biochemical evaluations measured before and after the intervention program.
