Inclusion criteria
Inclusion criteria: Healthy volunteers; both sexes; age between 18 and 59 years; right motor preference; participants diagnosed with ischemic stroke on the left confirmed by Computed Tomography (CT) or Magnetic Resonance Imaging (MRI) scans; age between 40 and 79 years; right hemiparesis; minimum score of 50% on the Fugl Meyer scale
Exclusion criteria
Exclusion criteria: Left motor preference; orthopedic alterations; fear of needles; hemorrhagic tendencies; clinical instability; uncontrolled epileptic seizures; other associated neurological diseases; global aphasia; inability to understand the written and spoken portuguese language
