Age
18 Years to 25 Years

Inclusion criteria

Inclusion criteria: Participants must be healthy individuals of both sexes; aged between 18 and 25 years; with no experience with the Pilates method

Exclusion criteria

Exclusion criteria: Participants who do not sign the informed consent form; who cannot attend a second data collection session; who are unable to perform the Pilates method technique; who cannot remain in an upright position; who are unable to perform flexion and extension movements of the curves; who have undergone surgical procedures that prevent the protocol from being performed; who have recent injuries in the elbow region; who show signs and symptoms of inflammation; who have a high degree of muscle imbalance between the upper limbs; who have serious neurological, cardiorespiratory, or metabolic diseases

MeasureTime frame
Muscle activation will be greater when performing the Pilates method training technique compared to performing the usual physical exercises, during resisted flexion and extension bending exercises with different weights.
