Design outcomes
Primary
| Measure | Time frame |
|---|---|
| Expected outcome 1: It is expected to find a reduction in the degree of fragility in the period of three month, verified by the SPPB test, from the finding of a variation of 3 points more pre and post intervention measurements;Outcome Found 1: A 4.3% reduction was observed in the number of fragile elderly between pre and post intervention moments, identified by the SPPB test | — |
Secondary
| Measure | Time frame |
|---|---|
| Expected outcome 2: It is expected to find an improvement in the balance of institutionalized elderly people, after a three-month intervention period, assessed by the functional reach test, where values ??less than 15 cm are considered as a balance deficit;Outcome found 2: An increase of 4.4 cm was observed between the pre and post phase, verified by the functional reach test, exceeding the minimum expected value of 15 cm, rising to 23 cm at the end;Expected outcome 3: It is expected to find an increase in muscle thickness after a three-month intervention period, assessed by an ultrasound device and measured by the Image J program. ;Outcome found 3: A small difference of 0.1 mm was observed between the pre- and post-intervention phases, verified by the Image J program | — |
