Inclusion criteria

Inclusion criteria: Age 18 years or older; confirmed medical diagnosis of arterial hypertension; antihypertensive treatment for at least six months; monitoring with a professional nurse in the ESF, residing in the coverage area of ??the selected health units.

Exclusion criteria

Exclusion criteria: People with cognitive impairment to answer questionnaires about aspects of memory, attention and communication skills; pregnant women with hypertension.

MeasureTime frame
Adherence to drug treatment assessed by the Morisky Medication Adherence Score MMAS-8 self-reported pharmacological adherence questionnaire 1 week after the end of the intervention;Adherence to non-drug treatment assessed by the non-drug therapy compliance questionnaire prepared by the researcher in accordance with the recommendations of the 7th Brazilian Guideline on Arterial Hypertension for non-drug treatment 1 week after the end of the intervention.;Blood pressure control assessed by measuring blood pressure with an automatic sphygmomanometer 1 week after the end of the intervention.;Lipid and blood glucose levels assessed by blood collection by an accredited laboratory 1 week after the end of the intervention.;Anthropometric measurements assessed by checking weight, height, waist, neck and hip circumference 1 week after the end of the intervention.;Cardiovascular risk stratification assessed by the Global Risk Score 1 week after the end of the intervention.
