Inclusion criteria

Inclusion criteria: Every pregnant woman in labor admitted to the maternity ward for cesarean delivery

Exclusion criteria

Exclusion criteria: Patient with a history of chronic pain located in the pelvic region; previous cesarean section; patients with difficulty communicating verbally; patients in continuous use of opioids; patients who cannot be contacted after hospital discharge (at least three attempts) to undergo the combined clinical reassessment will be considered as losses in clinical follow-up

Primary

MeasureTime frame
Evaluate the incidence of post-surgical chronic pain in pregnant women undergoing cesarean section and to identify the risk factors related to this outcome.

Secondary

MeasureTime frame
Evaluate the epidemiological profile of pregnant women who underwent cesarean section;Evaluate the intensity and quality of pain during labor, immediately after the cesarean section (24 hours after surgery), as well as in the postoperative period (seven days, thirty days, sixty days and ninety days);Evaluate the prevalence of neuropathic pain and quality of life in patients with chronic pain 180 days after cesarean section.
