Design outcomes

Primary

MeasureTime frame
To analyze the effects of adapted taekwondo on physiological markers of bone remodeling with bone densitometry, collection of alkaline phosphatase, serum phosphorus, pth, vitamin D and cobalamin, muscle strength with the handgrip test using the dynamometer, functional autonomy with the test GDLAM, self-esteem with the Rosenberg Self-Esteem Scale – RSES test and self-image with the body image test in elderly individuals submitted to 12 weeks of training.

Secondary

MeasureTime frame
To analyze the possible associations between bone remodeling markers, muscle strength, functional autonomy, self-esteem and self-image.To analyze the possible associations between bone remodeling markers, muscle strength, functional autonomy, self-esteem and self-image.
