Inclusion criteria

Inclusion criteria: 60 patients 18-55 years old, female, undergoing surgery for gastric bypass with surgery in Roux-Y for more than 24 months and who had regained weight of at least 5% of the lowest weight achieved during treatment.

Exclusion criteria

Exclusion criteria: Patients with decompensated diabetes on hormone treatment, with renal or hepatic disease or using any medication for loss weight.

Expected outcome: Weight loss and preservation of lean body mass and greater GER in patients with protein supplementation than in the control patients verified by measurement of weight with calibrated electronic scale considering statistically significant reduction (p <0.05) the parameters mentioned in relation to the values ??found before intervention;Outcome found: significant gain lean mass and weight to the intervention group
