Inclusion criteria

Inclusion criteria: Postpartum women admitted to the maternity room together with their baby; over 18 years of age; literate; who have a smartphone; and who express an interest in breastfeeding.

Exclusion criteria

Exclusion criteria: Women unable to breastfeed for clinical reasons (cases of HIV, cytomegalovirus and/or HTLV), who gave birth to multiple babies, who had a premature birth (<37 weeks) or with a history of hospitalization of the newborn in the ICU.

Design outcomes

Primary

MeasureTime frame
Increased breastfeeding self-efficacy scores in all periods, measured by the breastfeeding self-efficacy scale.

Secondary

MeasureTime frame
Increase in the proportion of puerperal women who maintain exclusive breastfeeding until the baby's sixth month of life, verified by the mother's self-report of being exclusively breastfed.;Increase in breastfeeding self-efficacy scores at 15 and 30 days after delivery, as measured by the breastfeeding self-efficacy scale.;Reduction in the appearance of breast complications among participants in the intervention group at 30 and 60 days after delivery, confirmed by the participant when referring to the absence of difficulties or complications in breastfeeding.
