Design outcomes

Primary

MeasureTime frame
it is expected to find a clinically significant improvement in physical functionality and a reduction in functional disability in people with knee osteoarthritis assessed through the womac questionnaire and the thirty second chair stand test after the combined intervention of telerehabilitation and pain education the primary outcome is functionality measured by the total womac questionnaire score and it is expected to observe a reduction of at least ten percent in the total score between baseline and post intervention

Secondary

MeasureTime frame
it is expected to observe an increase in the pressure pain threshold measured by pressure algometry over the patella and distal radio ulnar joint indicating lower pain sensitivity as well as an increase in the level of weekly physical activity measured by the ipaq short version questionnaire it is expected to find a positive variation of at least fifteen percent in the kilopascal values in algometry and the transition of participants from the insufficiently active to the active category in the physical activity questionnaire after eight weeks of follow up
