| With the accomplishment of this study it is expected that the functional bandage and the orthopedic palm can promote reduction of the pain picture, verified through the index of the function of the feet. This index consists of 23 items divided into three subscales: foot pain, disability and activity restrictions, with scores ranging from 0 (zero) to 10 (ten) where the highest score is the worst result. For this study, only the pain subscale consisting of nine questions will be used to measure the pain experience during specific activities (walking, lifting, shoe-shimming, walking barefoot). To obtain the total score of each domain will be done the sum of the score obtained from all items answered by the patient divided by the possible total score of the domain × 100 in order to obtain the percentage value ;With the accomplishment of this study it is expected that the functional bandage and the orthopedic palm can influence in the positioning of the longitudinal medial plantar arch that will be evaluated through Plantígrafia. The plantigraphy allows the qualitative information of the plantar impressions to be modified in numerical values after registering them on a white paper. For the calculation of the plantigraphy, the Cavanagh and Rodgers Arch Index will be used. This index divides the plantar impression into three regions: retro foot, midfoot and forefoot, excluding fingers. The values between 0.21 to 0.26 may indicate a normal foot, 0.21 foot cavus, with a mean foot height (B + (A + B + C) 0.26 foot flat; With the accomplishment of this study it is expected that the functional bandage and the orthopedic palm can promote a better distribution of the plantar discharge force that will be verified through the electronic baropodometer, constituted by a foot sensor, with an active surface dimension of 400 mm x 400 mm, dimensions of 575mm x 450mm x 25mm, thickness of 4mm / 5mm with rubber and polycarbonate coating, frequency 150Hz, 16 bit analogue / digital conversio | — |
