Inclusion criteria

Inclusion criteria: Female gender; age over forty years; date of last menstruation at least twelve months prior; history of hysterectomy and or oophorectomy; users and non users of hormone therapy

Exclusion criteria

Exclusion criteria: Alcohol or drug abuse; presence of autoimmune diseases; neoplasms

MeasureTime frame
Evaluate the occurrence of subclinical cardiovascular disease assessed by serum concentrations of Heat Shock Protein twenty seven and genetic polymorphisms using the correlation between these factors and the prognosis of subclinical cardiovascular disease where an occurrence index will be observed

Secondary

MeasureTime frame
Evaluate the association between inflammatory markers and polymorphic presence determined by laboratory analysis expecting that forty percent of the population will present with elevated inflammatory markers
