Interventions

This is a randomized controlled clinical study in accordance with the CONSORT guidelines. Randomization will be performed in Excel by an external researcher. The study will include 32 elderly people d
Block 2 – Neuromuscular 1, exercises focused on physical capacities
Block 3 – Neuromuscular 2 – Muscular strength
and Block 4 – Cardiorespiratory, ending with stretching exercises to return to calm.

Age
60 Years to No maximum

Inclusion criteria

Inclusion criteria: Elderly people; men and women; hypertensive; sedentary or who had not practiced any type of physical training in the month prior to the start of the intervention; not have uncontrolled heart failure; Parkinson's; Alzheimer's; insanity; physical or visual disability; morbid obesity; Cancer; unstable angina; musculoskeletal disorders that limit the performance of exercises; must be under treatment with antihypertensive medications; have medical follow-up; sign the Free and Informed Consent Form

Exclusion criteria

Exclusion criteria: Not completing the functional training session; failing to perform ankle brachial index (ABI) exams; not performing ambulatory blood pressure mapping (ABPM) in the pre- and post-intervention moments

Primary

MeasureTime frame
Reductions in arterial stiffness and reduction in ambulatory blood pressure (systolic and diastolic) are expected to occur during periods of wakefulness and sleep. Data collected before and after the training session
