Design outcomes

Primary

MeasureTime frame
To assess lower limb strength and endurance using the 30-second chair stand test. An increase in the number of repetitions in the test is expected at the end of the intervention

Secondary

MeasureTime frame
To assess upper limb strength and endurance through a 30-second arm curl test. An increase in the number of repetitions in the test is expected at the end of the intervention; To assess lower limb flexibility using the sit and reach test. An increase in flexibility is expected at the end of the intervention; To assess upper limb flexibility using the back scratch test. An improvement in upper limb flexibility is expected at the end of the intervention;Assess physical mobility using the 8-foot up and go test. A reduction in test time is expected when compared to baseline values; To assess aerobic endurance using the six-minute walk test. An increase in the total distance covered in the test is expected when compared to baseline values; To assess quality of life in the physical, psychological, environmental, social and general domains.
