Design outcomes

Primary

MeasureTime frame
An increase in the rate of premature newborns being breastfed at the time of hospital discharge is expected, as determined by the medical record at the time of hospital discharge. The success of the intervention will be defined as a minimum absolute increase of 15 percentage points in this rate, compared to the control group.

Secondary

MeasureTime frame
To evaluate the impact of guided meditation intervention on the psychological well-being and stress levels of postpartum women in the Neonatal Intensive Care Unit, using a mixed-methods approach that combines qualitative analysis of reports in a logbook with quantitative measurement using validated psychometric scales, comparing the results with a control group.;To assess whether the practice of guided meditation is associated with an increase in the frequency of human milk bank visits among postpartum women in the Neonatal Intensive Care Unit, compared to those receiving only usual care.;To verify the association between the practice of guided meditation and the total volume of breast milk extracted from the human milk bank by postpartum women in the Neonatal Intensive Care Unit, comparing the average production between the intervention group and the group receiving usual care.
