Inclusion criteria

Inclusion criteria: Age between 18 to 40 years; (2). Body mass index greater than or equal to 18.5 kg / m² and less than 40 kg / m² (3). Diagnosis of PCOS; (4); without physical exercise in the last six months or sedentary;

Exclusion criteria

Exclusion criteria: (1). Pregnant women; (2). They present androgen-secreting tumors, Cushing's syndrome, congenital adrenal hyperplasia, hyperprolactinemia (greater than 40ng / ml) and thyroid dysfunction; and (3). Diabetes mellituS; (4).one positive response on the PAR-Q or any other contraindications for physical activity, as determined by a medical history.

Design outcomes

Primary

MeasureTime frame
Reduction in metabolic markers (total cholesterol, HDL cholesterol (HDL-C), LDL cholesterol (LDL-), triglycerides, glucose and insulin resistance) after 12 weeks of physical activity program and 4 weeks of detraining. ;Reduction of body composition markers: weight, BMI, waist and hip circumference and percentage of fat.;Improvement in the domains of quality of life (vitality, mental health, general health perception, physical problems) after participating in the intervention.;Mental health: depression, anxiety and stress will be analyzed before, after 12 weeks of intervention and after 30 days of detraining. It will be analyzed through the Depression, Anxiety and Stress Scale - Short Format (DASS-21).

Heart rate (HR), perceived exertion (PSE) and affective response during HIIT sessions.
