Design outcomes

Primary

MeasureTime frame
It is expected from this study to verify statistical difference (p=0,05) on oral stereognosis and gustatory function on individuals with tongue lesions compared to individuals with normal anatomy, verified by oral stereognosis (Hirano et al., 2004) and gustatory function tests (Suter et al., 2017; Bangi et al., 2019).

Secondary

MeasureTime frame
It is expected that the palate coverage may influence the oral sensory perception and indicate the tongue as the main organ in the distinction of forms in the oral cavity.
