Eligibility

Age
30 Years to 60 Years

Inclusion criteria

Inclusion criteria: Essential hypertension Men and Women 30 to 60 years Sedentary No target organ damage or secondary causes of hypertension according to the diagnostic rotine of the Hypertension League of Clinical Hospital, Faculty of Medicine, University of Sao Paulo.

Exclusion criteria

Exclusion criteria: Individuals with obesity (body mass index greater than or equal to 35 kg/m2), Individuals with diabetes (fasting glycemia greater than or equal to 126 mg / dl), Individuals with heart disease (previous diagnosis or alteration at rest or exercise ECG), Average blood pressure greater than or equal 160/105mmHg. Subjects who do not tolerate the study medication.
