Eligibility

Inclusion criteria

Inclusion criteria: Patients over 18 years old admitted to the intensive care unit; both genders, on mechanical ventilation; who walked at least 10 meters before hospitalization.

Exclusion criteria

Exclusion criteria: Neuromuscular diseases; lower limb amputation; pregnancy; body mass index above 40 kg / m2; presence of external fixator or metal implants in lower limbs; open ulcers or skin lesions; pacemaker; rhabdomyolysis or creatinophosphokinase dosage above 4000 ui; cardiorespiratory arrest; spinal cord injury, stroke or head trauma.
