Two groups will be formed. The G1 group consisted of 20 elderly people who dance and the G2 group of 20 elderly people who do not dance.

Inclusion criteria
Inclusion criteria: 60 to 85 years; both sexes.
Exclusion criteria
Exclusion criteria: Severe cognitive impairment; orthopedic or neurological changes that moderately affect functional capacity.

| Expected outcome: Quality of life through the SF36 questionnaire with eight scores from 0 to 100 in which zero corresponds to worst and 100 a better quality of life. The dance group is expected to present significantly higher scores than the control group.;Outcome found:The dance group had better scores than the control group in the domains: physical aspects (p = 0.005), pain (p = 0.022), social aspects (p = 0.017), emotional aspects (p = 0.027), Significant difference.;Expected outcome: Depression evaluated with the Yesavage Geriatric Depression Scale with 15 items with negative or affirmative responses. The score ranges from zero to 15 points, 5 or more points diagnoses depression and a score equal to or greater than 11 characterizes severe depression. The dance group is expected to obtain scores lower than the control group;Outcome found: There was no difference between the groups regarding depression (p = 0.218).
