Inclusion criteria

Inclusion criteria: Minimum age of 18 years; 6 hours after delivery; Infection by Treponema pallidum in prenatal, childbirth, immediate pre-delivery and / or puerperium; Indication of treatment in the last 30 days before delivery or in the puerperium; Non-treponemal test (VDRL) reagent in any titration; Record of inadequate treatment for prenatal syphilis

Exclusion criteria

Exclusion criteria: Inability to answer questions on forms and questionnaire; To present a diagnosis of mental disorders recorded in medical records

The primary outcome will be the impact of educational intervention on treatment, defined as adequate or inadequate, according to the protocol established by the "Clinical Protocol and Therapeutic Guidelines for Integral Care for People with Sexually Transmitted Infections", related to the knowledge of the puerperae and evaluated from the conclusion indicated

The secondary outcome will be the improvement of the knowledge related to the educational intervention evaluated by the syphilis knowledge questionnaire
