Age
18 Years to 35 Years

Inclusion criteria

Inclusion criteria: Age between 18 and 35 years; sign the Informed Consent Form

Exclusion criteria

Exclusion criteria: use of myorelaxing and/or anti-inflammatory drugs; photosensitivity; pregnancy; glaucoma; undiagnosed lesion on the area to be irradiated or close to it; infection at the application site; history of cancer; use of a pacemaker or other electronic implant; having undergone previous orofacial myology therapy; presence of a beard or mustache at the time of data collection

MeasureTime frame
Expected outcome 1: maximum lip pressure, using the Iowa Oral Performance Instrument, a muscle pressure measurement instrument, based on the observation of variation in the pre- and post-intervention measurements.;Expected outcome 2: electrical activity from the lips during protrusion, using surface electromyography, based on the observation of variation in the pre and post-intervention measurements.;Expected outcome 3: electrical activity from the lips during speech, using surface electromyography, based on the observation of variation in the pre and post-intervention measurements.;Expected outcome 4: electrical activity from the lips during rest, using surface electromyography, based on the observation of variation in the pre and post-intervention measurements.
