Eligibility

Age
55 Years to 80 Years

Inclusion criteria

Exclusion criteria: Present an orthopedic disorder that contraindicates physical activities; cognitive disorder that makes it difficult to orient the intervention

Design outcomes

Primary

MeasureTime frame
Evaluate the changes in muscle strength, assessed by dynamometry with an increase of at least 5%. Data will be collected before and after 8 weeks of intervention

Secondary

MeasureTime frame
Evaluate changes in metabolic variables (glucose, insulin, LDL, HDL, total cholesterol, triglycerides), measured through laboratory tests, to be performed before and after 8 weeks of intervention. It is expected that melatonin and/or exercise may control these variables at reference levels
