Inclusion criteria

Inclusion criteria: Children regularly enrolled in the third year of elementary school; attending school during the school calendar in the data collection period; in the age group from seven years; both genders; able to develop activities that include reading words and phrases; understand the guidelines for the development of activities explained by others.

Exclusion criteria

Exclusion criteria: Children who were separated due to illness or those with special needs, identified by the class teacher, that made it difficult to understand questions of the questionnaire and the information of the game, making it impossible to participate in the educational intervention.

Design outcomes

Primary

MeasureTime frame
Average increase in scores on the knowledge about breastfeeding in school who participate in the intervention (intervention group) through the board game. This outcome will be checked by comparing the means of questionnaire scores for assessment of children's knowledge about breastfeeding, which will be applied before the board game (intervention), seven days and 30 days after the intervention in both groups ( control and intervention).
