Eligibility

Age
6 Years to 17 Years

Inclusion criteria

Inclusion criteria: Children and adolescents exhibiting well defined; creamy-white or yellow opacities in an incisor without post eruptive structural loss

Exclusion criteria

Exclusion criteria: Participants were those using fixed orthodontic appliances on their incisors; incisors with composite resin restorations; carious lesions on their central incisors; other enamel developmental defects such as dental fluorosis; hypoplasia, amelogenesis and dentinogenesis imperfecta, and participants with non cooperative behavior

Design outcomes

Primary

MeasureTime frame
Evaluate the masking of opacity using a spectrophotometer to obtain the color difference ?E before and after the interventions

Secondary

MeasureTime frame
To evaluate whether the use of transillumination increases the effectiveness of masking by means of a spectrophotometer to analyze the color difference ?E before and after the interventions;Evaluate color stability using a spectrophotometer after 1 month and 8 months
