This is an experimental, randomized, blinded study. A total of 20 athletes meeting the eligibility criteria will be allocated probabilistically into an ETCC (Transcranial Direct Current Stimulation)gr

Inclusion criteria

Inclusion criteria: Individual volunteers of their own free will, with a minimum of 01 year of training experience in the Running Club, between 18 and 32 years of age, with participation in a 5 km race or training in the last two months with a maximum time of 35 minutes to complete the race, must properly complete and sign the Informed Consent Form authorizing participation in the research and participate in all tests as directed.

Exclusion criteria

Exclusion criteria: Individuals who do not perform all the steps as instructed; present depravity in the upper respiratory tract; injuries that make it impossible to perform maximum effort during the tests.

Design outcomes

Primary

MeasureTime frame
It is expected to find a positive effect after the use of the stimulation on the athletes' sport performance. From the athlete's muscular strength with at least 5% variation in the pre and post stimulation moments.

Secondary

MeasureTime frame
It is expected to observe a reduction in the perceived exertion of the athletes who receive stimulation, by means of the Borg scale, comparing the results between the groups with a 5% variation. ;Improvements in lower limb muscle strength are expected to be observed in athletes through the counter movement jump with at least a 5% variation between the groups.
