| Measure | Time frame |
|---|---|
| It is expected that there will be improvements in the morphological, functional and socio-psycho-behavioral and cognitive variables of the elderly of the experimental group, due to the practice of the pilates method; The experimental group is expected to present positive changes in body composition, with an increase in lean mass and reduction of fat mass, evaluated with anthropometry; It is expected that the experimental group will present higher functional capacity indices evaluated by the American Alliance for Health, Physical Education, Recreation and Dance (AAHPERD), a protocol for evaluating the functional autonomy of the Latin American Development Group for maturity ( GDLAM) and The Rockport Fitness Walking Test;It is expected that the experimental group will present better indexes with regard to the socio-psycho-behavioral and cognitive aspects evaluated by the Mini Mental State Examination (MMSE), SF-36, Body Appreciation Scale (BAS), Aging Perception Questionnaire ( APQ) and Pittsburgh Sleep Quality Index (PSQI);It is expected that the experimental group will present improvements in posture organization, stability, range of motion and muscular strength, which will be evaluated respectively by: photographic records in orthostatic position in the anterior, posterior and lateral profiles; Sensory Platform - Computerized Baropodometry, Berg Scale, Activities-specific Balance Confidence scale (ABC scale), Functional Functional Evaluation, FMS (functional movement screen) and isokinetic dynamometer | — |

|---|---|
| It is expected that there is an association between morphological, functional and socio-psycho-behavioral and cognitive variables. It is also expected that in the experimental group this association will be altered after the intervention and different from the elderly in the control group | — |
