Design outcomes

Primary

MeasureTime frame
Maximum oxygen consumption after 12 weeks of combined training (aerobic and strength), assessed by the cardiopulmonary exercise test

Secondary

MeasureTime frame
Physical activity level after 12 weeks of combined training, evaluated by the pedometer. Submaximal exercise capacity after 12 weeks of combined training, assessed by the 6-minute walk test. Physical activity in daily life activities after 12 weeks of combined training, assessed by the International Physical Activity Questionnaire (IPAQ). Quality of life after 12 weeks of combined training, assessed by the Kidney Disease Quality of Life Short Form questionnaire (KDQOL-SFTM). Muscle strength of the lower limbs after 12 weeks of combined training, assessed by the maximum repetition of quadriceps test. Pulmonary function after 12 weeks of combined training, assessed by spirometry. Respiratory muscle strength after 12 weeks of combined training, assessed by manovacuometry. Inflammatory profile, after 12 weeks of combined training, assessed by Interleukin-6 (IL-6), Alpha Tumor Necrosis Factor and C-Reactive Protein (CRP). Muscle strength and muscle endurance after 12 weeks of combined training, assessed by the sit-up test
