A randomized clinical trial will be conducted with 64 participants, each undergoing two in-office dental bleaching sessions with 35% hydrogen peroxide and the fabrication of Class III cavity restorati
in Group 2, the restorations will be performed 14 days after dental bleaching. The color change, tooth sensitivity, and clinical behavior of the restorations will be evaluated. Color will be analyzed

Age
18 Years to No maximum

Inclusion criteria

Inclusion criteria: Participants must be over 18 years of age; have good oral hygiene; not have periodontal disease; have at least two Class III restorations with vestibular access in the upper anterior teeth; not have undergone whitening treatment in the last 3 years; and have a right upper canine with a color of A2 or darker

Exclusion criteria

Exclusion criteria: Pregnant and breastfeeding women; volunteers with a history of allergies to dental products and who use orthodontic appliances. The selected teeth must not present caries lesions, pulpitis, endodontic treatment, dentin hypersensitivity, or absence of adjacent and antagonist teeth

To evaluate the effect of applying a gel based on hydroalcoholic extract of Caesalpinia pyramidalis leaves on the clinical behavior of composite resin restorations performed immediately after whitening treatment and application of the antioxidant gel

Evaluate the clinical parameters of composite resin restorations performed immediately after whitening treatment and application of a plant extract-based gel with antioxidant action, compared to restorations performed 14 days after whitening treatment;Evaluate the effectiveness of in-office whitening with hydrogen peroxide gels in patients with aesthetic restorations;Evaluate the level of sensitivity to in-office whitening with hydrogen peroxide gels in patients with aesthetic restorations;Verify the acceptability of the selected patients regarding the treatment used;Measure the impact caused by the whitening treatment and aesthetic restorative treatment on the quality of life of the individuals participating in the study
