Temporomandibular Joint Disorders

Interventions

Group I, placebo laser group with 11 subjects. The treatment will be performed three times a week in a total of 10 sessions, receiving uninterrupted dental treatment
Group II, laser group with 8 J / cm2 with 11 subjects. The treatment will be performed three times a week in a total of 10 sessions, receiving uninterrupted dental treatment
Group III, laser group with 60 J / cm2 with 11 subjects. The treatment will be performed three times a week in a total of 10 sessions, receiving uninterrupted dental treatment
Group IV, laser group with 105 J / cm2 with 11 subjects. The treatment will be performed three times a week in a total of 10 sessions, receiving uninterrupted dental treatment.

Eligibility

Inclusion criteria

Inclusion criteria: Patients with diagnosis of Temporomandibular Disorders.

Exclusion criteria

Exclusion criteria: Patients using drugs to control pain; conditions in which the use of laser therapy, such as infection and tumors, is contraindicated; patients using orthodontic appliance or dental prosthesis.

MeasureTime frame
Reduction of joint pain assessed through the Visual Analog Pain Scale (VAS) from pre-post-intervention assessments

Secondary

MeasureTime frame
Improvement of joint mobility assessed through biophotogrammetry from pre-post-intervention assessments.
