Conditions

The patients in the study are apparently healthy and unrestricted women with physical exercise.

Interventions

46 Sedentary and apparently healthy women were also randomized to two groups (23 patients for each group): (Group of intensity imposed) GImp or (intensity group of self-selection) GAuto. GImp performe

Exclusion criteria: Participant with hypertension; diabetes; Use of medications that influence the cardiovascular or endocrine system; With musculoskeletal limitation for walking or running. Also, do not agree to participate in all research procedures.

Design outcomes

Primary

MeasureTime frame
Significant increase in stress and metabolic markers (creatine phosphokinase and lactate) immediately after intervention (both in the intensity group and in the self-selected intensity group); 24 hours later and 48 hours. 72 hours later, both markers may gradually return to resting levels. Serum markers will be analyzed after blood collection performed by a responsible pharmacist. The collections will be performed before and immediately after the exercise, as well as 24h, 48h and 72h after.
