Interventions

This is a randomized clinical study randomly allocated by a person not involved in the study. Twenty-nine elderly individuals with physical frailty were recruited and divided into 2 groups: Functional
block 2) neuromuscular: strength, power, balance, coordination and agility in the movement patterns of pushing, pulling and squatting (vertical and horizontal) and rotating and carrying objects with C
block 3) metabolic: movement transfer (integrated, dynamic and multimuscular)
and block 4) calming down (breathing and relaxation). The sessions lasted 50 to 60 minutes, twice a week, for 16 weeks

Inclusion criteria

Inclusion criteria: Be 80 years of age or older; both sexes; preserved cognitive function and physical frailty

Exclusion criteria

Exclusion criteria: Those who present a contraindication to the practice of physical activity or any other type of activity will be excluded. Other activity proposed by GETI, have a declared or confirmed physical disability and sequelae of pathologies neurological

Primary

MeasureTime frame
It is expected to find an increase in muscle strength, assessed by the handgrip strength test. Data collected one week before the intervention and after the intervention.;It is expected to find an increase in the level of physical activity, assessed by the number of steps measured by an accelerometer in 7 days. Data collected one week before the intervention and after the intervention.

Secondary

MeasureTime frame
It is expected to find an increase in functional capacity, assessed by the Timed Up and Go (TUG) test. Data collected one week before the intervention and evaluated after the intervention.;It is expected to find an improvement in quality of life, assessed by the EURORIS-QOL-8 test. Data collected one week before the intervention and evaluated after the intervention.
