Interventions

20 people diagnosed with Obsessive Compulsive Disorder will receive 36 sessions with a specific protocol of Kundalini Yoga during the period of 3 months, with 3 weekly meetings with an average duratio

Eligibility

Age
18 Years to 65 Years

Inclusion criteria

Inclusion criteria: Present OCD according to DSM-5; minimum age of 18 and maximum of 65 years; if taking medication, the doses should be stable for at least 3 months

Exclusion criteria

Exclusion criteria: Uncrontrolled systemic arterial hypertension; mental retardation; major depression with psychotic symptoms; schizophrenia; bipolar affective disorder; recent cranio-encephalic trauma with intracranial hypertension; pregnant women

Expected outcome 1: Eliminate or reduce the symptoms of obsessive-compulsive disorder as measured by the Yale-Brown Scale of Obsessive Compulsive Symptoms and by the dimensional scale of obsessive-compulsive symptoms of Yale-Brown;Expected outcome 2: To improve the quality of life measured by the quality of life assessment of the World Health Organization
