Inclusion criteria

Inclusion criteria: Parents; preschool-aged children (ages 3 to 5); both genders; children enrolled in Pre-I and Pre-II classes at Municipal Early Childhood Education Schools

Exclusion criteria

Exclusion criteria: Parents who do not agree to participate in the study

Design outcomes

Primary

MeasureTime frame
The educational intervention is expected to be effective in increasing parents’ knowledge of healthy child nutrition and improving their cooking skills, as verified by Student’s t-test, based on a p-value of less than 0.001 before and after the intervention.

Secondary

MeasureTime frame
A reduction in children’s consumption of ultra-processed foods is expected, as verified by Student’s t-test, based on a difference of at least 30% between pre- and post-intervention measurements.
