Eligibility

Age
18 Years to 70 Years

Inclusion criteria

Inclusion criteria: Patients aged 18 to 70; diagnosed with plantar fasciitis; patients with refractory pain with a verbal numerical scale score of 4 or higher

Exclusion criteria

Exclusion criteria: Under 18 years of age; those with previous deformities, those with peripheral neuropathy related to diabetes mellitus; such as pes cavus and those resulting from Charcot neuroarthropathy; those with cardiac and/or neurological pacemakers; those with metal implants (any) and those who refuse to participate in the study

Design outcomes

Primary

MeasureTime frame
A reduction in pain intensity (verbal numerical scale - VAS) related to plantar fasciitis.

Secondary

MeasureTime frame
The data obtained through the SF12 questionnaire are expected to show an improvement in the quality of life of patients who received active treatment.
