Eligibility

Age
18 Years to 70 Years

Inclusion criteria

Inclusion criteria: Over 18 years of age; good oral hygiene (plate index <20%); present indication for installation of immediate unitary implants in the anterior region of the maxilla; indication of caries extraction or root fracture; remaining adequate bone levels for installation of unitary implants; present intact neighboring teeth to the area that will receive the implants.

Exclusion criteria

Exclusion criteria: Need for previous surgery to increase bone and / or soft tissue; patients with periodontal disease; patients with top bite or with loss of posterior occlusal support, patients with diseases or systemic conditions or who use drugs that alter bone metabolism; presence of fixed orthodontic appliances, pregnant or lactating women; heavy smokers (Above 10 cigarettes per day).

Design outcomes

Primary

MeasureTime frame
The linear deviations of the placed implants that will be evaluated by means of tomographic analysis perform before and after the implant placement will be about 1 mm smaller in implants installed through fully guided surgery (n = 12) compared to implants that will be installed through partial surgery guided (n = 12).

Secondary

MeasureTime frame
The primary stability, that will be analyzed by resonance frequency analysis, will be about 10% higher in implants that will be placed by fully guided surgery (n = 12) compared to implants that will be installed by partially guided surgery technique (n = 12).
