Study 1: Subjects will receive general information about the experiment, will be screened to verify their eligibility to participate in the study and then will visit the laboratory on four different o
D2, D3 and D4) experimental conditions using RS, modified ST (STM) or documentary screening continuously for 60 minutes, accompanied by EEG. Between days D1/D2 there will be a minimum interval of 48 h
avoid prolonged use (= 10 continuous minutes) of RS in the four hours preceding the experimental conditions and abstention from RS Instagram© for 12 hours

Age
18 Years to 35 Years

Inclusion criteria

Inclusion criteria: Combat sport athletes; both sexes; age between 18 and 35 years; more than five years of experience in their modality; have competitive experience in their modality of origin in the last three years; be training the modality continuously in the last six months; have an active profile on Instagram

Exclusion criteria

Exclusion criteria: having suffered a knockout or concussion in the last month before the beginning of the collections; being on a low-calorie diet with restricted carbohydrate intake; impossibility of data analysis due to technical failures; self-reporting cognitive and brain impairment; present visual problems that compromise color discrimination; self-reporting sleep disturbances

In study 1, the electrophysiological brain responses will be compared through the evaluation of electroencephalographic frequency bands in different types of cognitive effort. It is expected to find alpha frequency band increases in the conditions of prolonged cognitive effort through modified Stroop test and use of Social Network, compared to baseline and control condition, but not different from each other. ;In study 2, the effect of prolonged cognitive effort on the visuomotor performance of combat athletes will be verified, measured through the use of motion sensors (LED lights). Visuomotor performance is expected to be worse in the condition of prolonged cognitive effort, compared to control conditions, reflected by the worsening in accuracy and response time to the visuomotor test. ;In study 3, the contracting effect of transcranial stimulation by continuous current will be verified on the effects of prolonged cognitive effort on visuomotor performance. It is expected that real transcranial stimulation can attenuate the effects of prolonged cognitive effort on visuomotor performance, showing no difference from the control conditions (no stimulation and no cognitive effort) and being superior to the placebo condition (placebo brain stimulation and with cognitive effort).
