Eligibility

Age
13 Years to 18 Years

Inclusion criteria

Inclusion criteria: Adolescents; overweight and obesity; ages between 13 and 18 years; students of the School of Elementary and Middle School Antônio de Almeida Lustosa.

Exclusion criteria

Exclusion criteria: Age under 13 years or above 18 years of age; orthopedic problem; problems that prevent them from participating in the exercise program.

Design outcomes

Primary

MeasureTime frame
Expected outcome: Mean reduction in nutritional rating by 5%, as determined by the Body Mass Index, from the beginning to the end of the study, in the intervention group.

Secondary

MeasureTime frame
Expected outcome 1: Reduction of abdominal and neck circumference measurements by 5% from baseline to end of study in the intervention group.;Expected outcome 2: Reduction of lipid and glycemic profile by 5%, from the beginning to the end of the study in the intervention group.
