Hand Osteoarthritis

Interventions

Step 1 - Conduct sample selection, through direct invitation, the weekly outpatient osteoarthritis. The sample will be 40 individuals. Step 2 - Eligible patients will be invited to participate in the
manual function evaluation (SACRAH)
the evaluation of participation in the ADL by the Canadian Occupational Performance Measure (COPM)
and evaluation of quality of life (WHOQOL-Bref). Step 4 - After completing the initial evaluations, randomization will be held, and volunteers will be randomly divided into experimental and control gr

18 Years to 90 Years

Inclusion criteria

Inclusion criteria: The sample consists of 40 volunteers with the following inclusion criteria: Hand OA diagnostics (ACR); Be registered at the Hospital das Clinicas, Federal University of Pernambuco; minimum age 18 and maximum age of 90 years.

Exclusion criteria

Exclusion criteria: Surgical treatment or infiltration in the hands in the last 6 months;Treatment of occupational therapy and / or physical therapy or use of any TA feature (assist device or split) in the last 6 months; Diagnosis of another rheumatologic disease or musculoskeletal disease that compromise the hands.

Improvement of occupational performance in patients with hands osteoarthritis that receive the proposed treatment instrument through Canadian Occupational Performance Measure (copm) from a minimum detectable difference of 2.0 points in the copm performance score, pre and post intervention (Falow-up of 3 months)
