| The expected outcome of this study was to analyze the results obtained from the use of Somatic Experiencing® as a new therapeutic approach for the treatment of post-traumatic stress disorder. The parameters used to evaluate the study outcome were: the data in port, initial anamnesis and the condition in which the subjects were in the beginning and during the research presented is a table that was created based on the DMS criteria IV (American Psychiatric Association, 1994) and Netto Protocol (2013) and filled with discursives fragments of the subject. This framework was intended to show the general situation (physical and mental) of the subjects with PTSD at baseline and then every meeting as a unit of analysis. As the parameter were set eighteen therapy sessions a research subject, each session an analysis unit. As a result, we expected that the improved quality of life influencing the personal and professional life of the research subjects, occurred return work activities, and improvement in physical and mental situation.;It was evaluated during follow-up of therapy that this method was efficient in this trauma renegotiation process in the research subjects, and from interventions with Somatic Experiencing®, there has been significant neurophysiological advances on the health status of the subjects . Many resolutions of physical symptoms, emotional and widespread tensions have been proven through a self positive assessment expressed during the therapy sessions. The expected result was achieved 100% with an average of fifteen sessions, and it is a viable protocol to be applied to federal public servants. | — |
