Inclusion criteria

Inclusion criteria: Women; amenorrhoea of at least 12 months; able to exercise; healthy; do not present functional limitations that prevent them from exercising on the treadmill; do not present chronic diseases (diabetes, hypertension and coronary artery disease) or any pathology that can prevent their participation in physical activity; do not perform hormone replacement therapy; do not use medications that may interfere in the results of the survey; non-smoker.

Design outcomes

Primary

MeasureTime frame
Lower mean of heart rate during high intensity exercise performed after LED application, monitored by cardiofrequencymeters, and identified by comparison of means, considering p lower than 0.05.

Secondary

MeasureTime frame
Lower salivary concentration of oxidative stress markers and inflammation after exercise with LED application, verified by biochemical tests, considering p lower than 0.05 between intra and inter group comparisons.;Lower blood pressure after exercise with LED application, verified by means of automatic blood pressure monitors, considering p lower than 0.05 between intra and inter group comparisons.;Better indexes of heart rate variability after exercise with LED application, verified by means of a Polar RS800 cardiofrequencymeter, considering p lower than 0.05 between intra and inter group comparisons.;Attenuation in the isometric knee extension force loss after exercise with the LED application, verified by means of a load cell, considering p lower than 0.05 between intra and inter group comparisons.
